I completed all 4 years of my undergraduate degree at Oregon State University.  Following the completion of my bachelor’s degree, I began my master’s program at Concordia University in Portland, OR.

After I finish my masters degree, I started my teaching career at Estacada Jr. High, where I taught 7th grade social studies for one year.  After finishing this experience, my family and I moved to teach in Saraburi, Thailand for one year.  We were able to travel throughout Thailand, visiting several different temples and cities in the nation.  We were also about to travel to Malaysia and South Korea while in Asia before returning to the United States.

From 2011- 13, I was the head of social studies department at Tulelake High School.  I taught geography, world history, US history and civics at the high school level, and I was the head junior high boys and girls basketball coach those last 2 years.

I joined Crook County High School in 2013 as a world cultures, US history and AP US history teacher.  I have coached many sports at CCHS and I am currently a coach for the boys basketball team.
